Abstract

The article is devoted to the role and importance of ultrasound diagnostic methods in the choice of tactics for the treatment of patients with cervical osteochondrosis. The advantages of ultrasound diagnostics of the spine in comparison with traditional methods such as radiography, MRI and CT are analyzed. Particular attention is paid to the detailing of anatomical structures and the possibility of dynamic assessment of movements. The article discusses the results of clinical studies confirming the effectiveness of ultrasound in determining the degree of degenerative changes in the intervertebral discs in patients with cervical osteochondrosis. The impact of ultrasound diagnostics on individual decisions on treatment planning and monitoring of effectiveness is highlighted. The article also discusses the technical aspects of ultrasound diagnostics, training of specialists and the prospects for the development of this field in medical practice. The conclusions are based on a review of modern research and practical experience in the implementation of ultrasound methods in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with cervical osteochondrosis.
