EVALUATION OF BIOECOLOGICAL CHARACTERISTICS AND PHARMACEUTICAL POTENTIAL OF GLYCYRRHIZA GLABRA L. DISTRIBUTED IN NAMANGAN REGION
Main Article Content
Abstract
The article provides a systematic analysis of the bioecological characteristics, current state of coenopopulations, and transformation under the influence of anthropogenic factors of the medicinal plant Glycyrrhiza glabra L. (licorice), growing wild in the Namangan region. The study determines the impact of regional soil and climatic conditions on the plant’s vegetative period and the accumulation of phytochemical compounds within the root system. Furthermore, the potential of the raw material base in the modern pharmaceutical industry is evaluated, and scientifically sound recommendations for the sustainable utilization and conservation of natural resources are developed.
