Abstract

This article addresses the diagnosis of dermatomycoses in farm animals using modern diagnostic methods. The effectiveness of microscopic, cultural, fluorescent, and molecular (PCR) techniques was analyzed. The microscopic method enables rapid detection of fungal elements, while the cultural method allows species-level identification of the pathogen. The fluorescent method is effective for detecting subclinical forms of infection, and PCR provides fast and accurate pathogen identification. The results demonstrated that a comprehensive diagnostic approach is the most reliable method for dermatomycosis detection, enabling early diagnosis and effective development of preventive and therapeutic measures.
