ENERGY EFFICIENCY AND ENERGY SAVING AS FACTORS OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

Abstract

Energy consumption is constantly increasing in Kyrgyzstan. Energy consumption is characteristic of all types of human economic activity. The increase in energy consumption is accompanied by an impact on people and on the environment. Modern people are very dependent on energy. People do not think about where energy comes from until their light or heating is switched off. Today the question of preserving the development of society while reducing the use of resources and lessening the load on the environment remains topical. One of the main mechanisms for achieving sustainable development is raising energy efficiency as the basis of the success of economic development, since the inefficient use of energy hinders the growth of GDP.
