THE STATUS OF INTERLEUKINS IN NONSPECIFIC INTERSTITIAL PNEUMONIA
Main Article Content
Abstract
In nonspecific interstitial pneumonia, disturbances of the immunocompetent cells of the peripheral bloodstream occur in the form of changes in the concentration of the serum cytokines IL-1β and IL-17A. They determine the production of acute-phase proteins and fibrinogen, the level of leukocytosis and the ESR level. A relationship has been established between the changes in interleukin concentration and the severity of the course of the pathology. The above confirms the undoubted participation of interleukins at the onset and in the process of formation of the pathological process, especially in patients with a moderate and severe course, and to a lesser extent in patients with a mild course.
