TWO SCHOOLS OF THOUGHT IN NEUROLINGUISTIC RESEARCH
Main Article Content
Abstract
This article reveals the development of two schools of established traditions of neurolinguistic research — the Moscow School of Neurolinguistics by A. R. Luria (currently being developed by T. V. Akhutina) and the St. Petersburg School of Neurolinguistics by Balonov-Deglin (current leader is T. V. Chernigovskaya), as well as research on speech under the influence of a certain environment, family upbringing. The development of speech in students, as a separate subject of science and the division of the two schools in neurolinguistics, as well as the speech process, relies on a number of cooperative areas of the cerebral cortex.
