Abstract

Chronic heart failure (CHF) remains one of the most pressing medical and socio-economic problems, despite significant progress in treatment, since the prognosis of these patients remains unfavorable. Intensive study of the relationship between the pathology of the cardiovascular system and the kidneys led to the creation of the concept of cardiorenal syndrome.
