Abstract

The article examines the essence of the pedagogical approach as the most important aspect of educational activity in primary school. The significance of learner-centred interaction between the teacher and primary school pupils is emphasized, as it contributes to the formation of moral and social qualities and to the development of cognitive activity and emotional intelligence. Methods and techniques aimed at creating an educational environment that meets the needs of a child of this age stage are highlighted. Practical recommendations are presented for organizing the educational process taking into account the individual and age characteristics of primary school pupils.
