Abstract

One of the drama works written on the motif of the epic "Kitabi-Dada Gorgud" is the play "Dada Gorgud" by the Azerbaijani writer Abay Daghli (1909-1989), who lived in exile. In this work, the author freely approached "Kitabi-Dade Gorgud" and tried to express his thoughts and opinions about the modern world, reality, especially national conflicts, by referring to history. The main direction of our today's study is to compare the examples of both epic types.
