THE IMPORTANCE OF PULSE CONTROL DURING SPORTS ACTIVITIES
Main Article Content
Abstract
The world of sport is developing at great speed, as a result of which the loads placed on athletes increase every day. Under the conditions of such rapid development of sport, the role of sports medicine grows. It is important to ensure the protection of athletes' health. It is necessary not only to improve the treatment of injuries, but also to introduce effective methods for preventing various injuries and diseases. The pulse is the periodic jerk-like oscillation of the arterial wall arising from the ejection of blood from the heart during its contraction. The pulse can be considered the simplest way to assess the work of the circulatory system. The role of assessing the pulse is especially important under heavy physical loads. The pulse cannot be considered a full-fledged diagnostic indicator, but the pulse can help to identify early signs of diseases of the circulatory system. Also, thanks to pulse indicators, it is possible to draw up a plan of the training process taking into account a dosed load on the athlete's body, thereby increasing the effectiveness of the training process and improving the athlete's health indicators.
