Abstract

We have developed a technique for using a polycomposite polymer based on cellulose derivatives in thermal injuries. In severe thermal injuries, DIC syndrome develops, requiring an appropriate correction of haemostasis. Under these conditions, the use of Hemoben during necrectomy and autodermoplasty significantly increased the effectiveness of the therapy, shortened the hospital stay of the victims and reduced mortality. The mechanism of the positive action of the preparation is connected with its effect on the extrinsic and intrinsic pathways of coagulation haemostasis and with its adhesive capacity, which ensures rapid and complete engraftment of the graft.
