THE USE OF THE DRUG GLIMAX ( GLIMEPIRIDE) IN THE TREATMENT OF TYPE 2 DIABETES MELLITUS.

Abstract
This article is about type 2 diabetes, which is common in medicine and is associated with metabolic disorders. This disease develops for various reasons. Some types of the disease have a genetic origin, others are related to lifestyle, stress or environmental factors. In 2019, diabetes was the direct cause of 1.5 million deaths worldwide. In addition, in almost half of the cases, the disease ended with death in people under 60-70 years of age. The main causes of death are related to complications (nephropathy, neuropathy, retinopathy, diabetic foot, etc.)
