Many workers who deal with medicinal plants in one way or another do not have the education that would allow them to use specialised manuals on medicinal plants. For this reason, it is important for those interested in the purposeful study, collection, preparation, cultivation, processing and use of medicinal plants to read and seek out basic information about the appearance of plants, their growing conditions, their medicinal properties and the possibilities of using them. Only then can the advancement of folk medicine be achieved.
