PROSPECTIVE CAPACITY AND ELECTRICITY BALANCES OF THE UNIFIED POWER SYSTEM OF CENTRAL ASIA AND SOUTHERN KAZAKHSTAN TAKING INTO ACCOUNT THE INTEGRATION OF RENEWABLE ENERGY SOURCES

Abstract
The article provides an analysis of the rapid growth of electricity generation on the basis of renewable energy sources in the world. Taking this trend into account, the need was noted to carry out an analysis of the state of the generating sources in the Unified Power System of Central Asia (UPS CA) in order to determine the prospects for the development of the region. An analysis of the current state of the generating sources of the power systems of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan was carried out. Prospective balances of electricity and capacity for the power systems were compiled, as well as a combined balance of the Unified Power System (UPS) of Kazakhstan and the UPS of Central Asia, taking into account the integration of renewable energy sources in the region. The total volume of the forecast electricity consumption of the UPS of Kazakhstan and the UPS of Central Asia by 2030 was determined. On the basis of the analysis performed and of the prospective balance of electricity and capacity, conclusions on the question under consideration are presented.
