Abstract
"Light comes from the East," says one of the ancient Greek sayings. There is a recognition in it. Indeed, the sun rises in the East. The sun of reason, too, was born in the East and made its way to the West. This does not contradict the theories about the origin of life either. The fact that art and culture first emerged in such lands as China, India, Central Asia, Arabia and Egypt is evidence of this.[1, 4] That "Light comes from the East" is seen more clearly in the example of the epic genre, which brings us news of ancient civilization. For the most important truths and problems of life are embedded in the legends, myths and epic poems that arose thousands of years ago.
