BUILDING-INTEGRATED PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEMS
Main Article Content
Abstract
The integration of solar photovoltaic systems into building structures, usually called "Building Integrated Photovoltaics" (BIPV), is an important innovation in the sustainable energy sector. BIPV technologies combine energy generation with building design and offer many advantages, such as reducing carbon emissions, saving energy costs and improved architectural aesthetics. This article examines the types of BIPV technologies, where they are applied, the generation of clean energy in the built environment, and how necessary BIPV technology is in Uzbekistan. BIPV technologies have developed considerably over the last few decades owing to environmental problems, regulations for increasing energy efficiency and the growing demand for renewable energy sources.
