Abstract

Methods of treating diffuse toxic goitre (Graves' disease) are considered. An analysis of 24 patients with a severe degree of thyrotoxicosis was carried out. The aim, the main indications and the methods of surgical treatment, as well as the complications that may arise, are described in detail. A comparative assessment of the methods of treating patients with diffuse toxic goitre is considered.
