Abstract

The article presents the results of a study of the influence of the length of the soil-pusher leveller of the working implement that buries exposed tree roots in an intensive orchard on its working indicators. It was determined that, in order to push the soil heap formed by the spherical disc onto the exposed roots of the tree and partially compact it, the length of the soil-pusher leveller should be within the range of 55-60 cm. The tests were carried out in a drip-irrigated intensive orchard planted according to the 4x1.2 scheme.
