Abstract
The results of the research we carried out are substantiated in theoretical and methodological terms; they rest on the opinions of the scholars and practising coaches of our republic in the field of the theory and methodology of training in the wrestling sports; research methods corresponding to the research tasks and complementing one another were applied; the analysis and the research tasks were ensured quantitatively and qualitatively; the representativeness of the experimental work and mathematical-statistical methods of analysing the obtained results were used.
