DIGITAL APPROACHES TO ENSURING THE STABILITY OF A CONTROL SYSTEM
Main Article Content
Abstract
The stability of a control system is an important property in various fields, including aerospace, automotive, chemical and power systems. A stable control system produces a controlled output that approaches the desired value despite disturbances and noise in the system. Instability of a control system can lead to serious problems and even to catastrophic failures. Digital approaches are increasingly being used to ensure stability in control systems. This article provides an overview of digital approaches to ensuring the stability of a control system, including digital methods of stability analysis and control design.
