Abstract

This article presents a comparative evaluation of the therapeutic efficacy of the chemical preparations Bipin-T and Flutsin and an infusion of asafoetida (Ferula assa-foetida) against varroosis and tropilaelapsosis in honey bees. Based on changes in the number of Varroa destructor and Tropilaelaps mites, the acaricidal activity, specific effects, and potential application of the preparations in therapeutic and preventive measures were analyzed. Taking into account the advantages and limitations of chemical acaricides and the phytopreparation, scientifically justified approaches to an integrated treatment and prevention scheme for invasive diseases of honey bees are presented.
