Abstract

The article provides a brief analysis of the potential and current state of small hydropower in the Kyrgyz Republic. As well as the feasibility of building small hydroelectric power plants on real opportunities, taking into account the following positive economic, technical, socio-political, environmental and gender aspects of the development of the country's economy.
