ELECTROCHEMICAL METHODS AND ANALYZERS OF GAS MIXTURE COMPOSITION CONTROL

Abstract
An electrochemical sensor of methane is a device that generates an analytical signal due to the progress of an electrochemical process. Electrochemical sensors allow qualitative and quantitative analysis of chemical compounds (including methane) in liquid and gaseous phase. The sensitive element of modern electrochemical sensors is a galvanic element consisting of two electrodes and an electrolyte. In this case, the electrolyte and solution are separated from the analyzed gas phase by a membrane.
