Abstract

This article presents our research on maintaining optimal air humidity in the incubation room during the revival period of silkworm larvae, which is of decisive importance for obtaining high-quality silk fibres. The larvae were revived and incubated under a special temperature condition of 24 °C and a humidity of 75-80% in accordance with the established requirements. The silk fibres obtained from the cultivated cocoon worms were compared with fibres obtained by traditional methods. The results demonstrate the effectiveness of the mechatronic system developed by us.
