ENHANCING SILKWORM PRODUCTION THROUGH PREVENTIVE MEASURES WITH THE USE OF A MECHATRONIC SYSTEM.
Main Article Content
Abstract
This research article presents the results of our study devoted to implementing preventive measures with the use of a mechatronic system in order to enhance silkworm production at the cocoon stage. The mechatronic system includes a microcontroller programmed to keep the room temperature at the set level of 24-25 °C. When the temperature falls, the microcontroller activates the heat source, and once the temperature returns to normal it commands the heat source to be switched off. The article compares the influence of these preventive measures on the quality and the quantity of silkworm production. The results obtained demonstrate the effectiveness of the developed mechatronic system.
