Abstract

This article analyzes the essence of environmental journalism, as well as its place and importance in social development from a scientific and theoretical perspective. In the context of the global nature of environmental problems, the role of mass media in shaping environmental awareness and culture is revealed. The functions, principles, and modern development trends of environmental journalism are also highlighted.
