Abstract

The article discusses the study of language levels in world linguistics, in particular the study of the Uzbek language and its methodological foundations, the levelling of languages on the basis of the principles of the CEFR(L), the theoretical foundations for creating the second-level lexical base of the modern Uzbek literary language and the criteria for its creation.
