THE PHILOSOPHICAL FOUNDATIONS OF DESIGNING ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE FOR SOCIAL WELL-BEING
Main Article Content
Abstract
This article provides a philosophical analysis of the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in ensuring social well-being in modern information society. Relying on the "onlife" concept put forward by L. Floridi and on the theory of the infosphere, the study describes the influence of AI on social institutions within a new ontological space in which the analogue and digital worlds are merged. In the article, artificial intelligence is interpreted not only as a technological instrument but also as an intelligent agent participating in decision-making processes. The article also substantiates the priority importance of the principles of human-centredness, ethical responsibility, social justice and transparency in designing AI systems. The results of the research show the necessity of understanding artificial intelligence as a socio-philosophical project and of shaping a model of it that serves the stability of society.
