Abstract

The article sets out that the causes of infertility in cows kept under the conditions of the cattle-breeding farms of the Republic of Karakalpakstan are the imperfection of the feed rations during the dry period of pregnant cows and the lack of vitamins and microelements, and that during the period of intensified lactation after calving the failure to satisfy the requirements of the cows' organism for nutrients, vitamins and mineral substances causes the development of infertility of an alimentary and climatic character in them.
