THE IMPACT OF COVID-19 AND SARS-COV-2 VACCINATION ON THE FREQUENCY OF HERPES ZOSTER REACTIVATION
Main Article Content
Abstract
This study presents a comparative clinical and immunological analysis of the frequency and course of herpes zoster in patients who have had COVID-19 and in those vaccinated against SARS-CoV-2, in order to assess the influence of these factors on the reactivation of the Varicella-Zoster virus. The analysis was carried out by comparing three groups of patients. On the basis of clinical data and laboratory indicators, the risk of reactivation, the features of the course of the disease and immunological changes were determined. The incidence, the severity of clinical manifestations and the level of specific immune cells were analysed using statistical methods. In addition, key risk factors were identified, which is an important indicator for clinical prognosis and prevention.
