Abstract

The modern educational environment is being rapidly transformed under the influence of information technologies. Their introduction into the learning process contributes not only to improving the quality of education but also to the formation of new forms of interaction between teachers and learners. This article examines the main directions of the use of information and communication technologies in education, their advantages, the current challenges, and also the prospects for the development of digital learning under conditions of global digitalisation.
