Abstract

This article examines the place and significance of interactive teaching methods in the modern educational process at pedagogical higher education institutions. The essence and typology of interactive methods are analysed in detail. The essence of interactive learning is revealed as a form of organising pedagogical interaction aimed at the active involvement of students in the process of cognition at pedagogical higher education institutions.
