METHODS OF INCREASING THE EFFICIENCY OF THE CONDENSER UNIT OF A THERMAL POWER PLANT (ANALYSIS OF THE OPERATION OF TPP CONDENSERS)
Main Article Content
Abstract
This article analyses methods of optimising the performance of steam turbine condensers, which directly determine the efficiency of thermal power plants (TPP). The factors that adversely affect the main indicators of the condenser - the vacuum level and the heat transfer coefficient (fouling, air leakage) - have been studied. Practical recommendations are given on the basis of the scientific research of leading foreign scholars as well as our own research. According to the results of the analysis, the overall thermal efficiency of the plant can be increased considerably through a comprehensive approach.
