USING MODERN PEDAGOGICAL TECHNOLOGY METHODS IN TEACHING OBSTETRICS AND GYNECOLOGY

Abstract
This article examines modern pedagogical approaches to teaching obstetrics and gynecology in the system of medical education, in particular the advantages of teaching by means of mannequins and simulation robot-patients. Through the use of simulation-based educational technologies, students gain the opportunity to master clinical situations in a safe environment close to real life. It is also emphasized that the establishment of simulation centres is important for developing the social adaptation ability of future physicians, strengthening students' motivation for independent learning and realizing their intellectual and personal potential. It is shown that the main task of the medical teacher consists of properly organizing, managing and assessing students' independent activity.
