Abstract

This article analyses the theoretical and practical aspects of forming ecological consciousness in primary school students. The pedagogical, educational, psychological and social mechanisms of instilling from an early age the protection of nature, ecological culture and a responsible attitude are revealed. The cooperation of the family, the school and society in forming students' ecological knowledge, skills and values, as well as the effectiveness of lesson and extracurricular activities, are highlighted. The article also shows the ways of forming a conscious attitude to nature in children through ecological games, projects, observation work in the midst of nature and state initiatives such as "Yashil makon" (Green Space). The results of the research serve to improve ecological education in the primary education process.
