METHODOLOGY FOR IMPROVING SELF-DEFENCE ELEMENTS IN PHYSICAL EDUCATION LESSONS FOR PRIMARY SCHOOL GIRLS

Abstract

This article analyses, from a scientific-theoretical and practical point of view, the methodology for improving self-defence elements in the course of physical education lessons for primary school girls. In today's process of globalization, paying attention to the physical and spiritual maturity of the young generation, and especially of girls, is considered one of the priority tasks. In this connection, the inclusion of self-defence elements in physical education classes serves to help them follow a healthy lifestyle, develop their motor activity, ensure their psychological stability and form the skills of protecting themselves in various adverse situations. In the study, taking into account the age-related physiological characteristics of primary school girls, methodological recommendations were developed for developing their level of physical fitness, motor ability and life skills. The proposed methodology is of great importance not only for physical development, but also for cultivating in students such important qualities as discipline, responsibility, self-confidence, determination and independent thinking. In this way, an opportunity is created to increase the effectiveness of physical education lessons for primary school girls, to strengthen their social activity and to ensure that they take an active position in life.
