Abstract
This article analyses the philosophical and moral model of the world and its artistic embodiment in L.N. Tolstoy's novel "Resurrection". The work raises such key themes as conscience, spiritual renewal, justice and purification. Through the inner searchings of the characters and the reflection of social injustice in society, the writer reveals profound moral problems. Using the images of Nekhlyudov and Katyusha as an example, the questions of self-knowledge, spiritual rebirth and the influence of the social environment on the individual are shown. In the course of the research, the philosophical and moral essence of the novel, its system of images and its artistic devices are examined from a scientific point of view.
