SCIENTIFIC AND METHODOLOGICAL FOUNDATIONS OF TECHNICAL AND TACTICAL TRAINING AND COMPETITIVE ACTIVITY IN TEACHING GRECO-ROMAN WRESTLING TO ATHLETES WITH HEARING IMPAIRMENTS

Abstract
This article presents the results of a study carried out on improving the process of teaching the technical and tactical elements of Greco-Roman wrestling to athletes with hearing impairment. The aim of the study is to identify optimal methods for the effective training of deaf athletes. During the experiment, a special "SurdWrestling" programme, instruction through sign language and technical approaches to the training stages were introduced. In the athletes of the experimental group, technical and tactical indicators increased by up to 30%, and the number of points conceded decreased by 14%. The effectiveness was confirmed by the example of athletes who obtained qualification for the Deaflympic Games. The article concludes with practical recommendations on improving preparation for the Deaflympics.
