Abstract
This article discusses the impact on human health and on the environment of the harmful gases released by industrial enterprises, namely SO₂, NOₓ, P2O5 and CO, as well as a modified chimney device developed with the aim of reducing them. The device employs a neutralisation reaction based on Ca(OH)₂ (calcium hydroxide) and has shown high efficiency under laboratory conditions. The invention is proposed as a solution suitable for industrial use and advantageous in both economic and ecological terms.
