Abstract

The article discusses contemporary trends in the migration process, the changes brought about by globalisation and the importance of migration policy. With the help of philosophical and sociological approaches, questions related to the place of migration in social life and to human rights and freedoms are also examined. The results of this article contribute to a deeper understanding of the migration process.
