Abstract
This article provides a scientific and theoretical analysis of the concept of migration from philosophical and sociological perspectives. Migration, as the process of people moving from one place to another, is studied in connection with various social, economic and cultural factors. The study first considers the philosophical foundations of migration and its place and significance in the history of humanity. Subsequently, from a sociological standpoint, the impact of migration on social structures, on identity and on intercultural relations is analysed.
