Abstract

This article analyses the current state of the biogas industry in Uzbekistan and its development potential. The existing infrastructure, legal framework and financial incentive measures for biogas production were studied. It was found that technical, financial and logistical problems currently hinder the introduction of biogas technologies. International experience was also analysed and the most suitable solutions for Uzbekistan were proposed. The results of the study include practical proposals aimed at developing the biogas industry, diversifying energy sources in agriculture and protecting the environment.
