Abstract
This article sets out advanced practical experience and the results of scientific research on developing the physical preparedness of volleyball players aged 13-14. It presents information on the main factors influencing the improvement of the physical qualities of volleyball players, on the criteria for selecting effective training methods and means, and also on the degree of effect that these means have at the stages of training, that is, in each lesson, microcycle, preparatory period and throughout the whole year.
