Abstract

This article substantiates the problems and the development potential of the power system of Kyrgyzstan, as well as the main factors contributing to the emergence of this problem. Considerable potential has been identified for increasing the efficiency of the use of renewable sources and for reducing the cost of the heat and electricity obtained, which provides broad prospects for solving energy and environmental problems in the future.
