Abstract
This article analyses the importance of pharmaceutical terminology, the necessity of the correct use of the terms specific to the pharmaceutical field, and the questions of their conformity with international standards. The importance of developing pharmaceutical terms, of bringing them into a single system and of advancing them in accordance with scientific and technical progress is emphasised.
