Abstract
Nuclear chemistry is a branch of science that studies the structure, properties and transformations of the atomic nucleus, and today its application in the field of medicine is of great importance. The role of nuclear chemistry is invaluable, especially in the development of methods of diagnosis, therapy and treatment. This article provides detailed information on the main areas of application of nuclear chemistry in medicine, including nuclear medicine, radiological diagnostics, radiotherapy and radiopharmaceuticals.
