SUPPORTING SOCIAL ADAPTATION THROUGH ADAPTIVE PHYSICAL EDUCATION IN INCLUSIVE CLASSES

Abstract
This article examines the questions of supporting the social adaptation of children with disabilities through adaptive physical education in inclusive classes. Adaptive physical education provides not only physical development but also psychological and social integration. The article analyses the ways of raising children's self-confidence, of developing their skills of communicating with peers and of assisting their successful integration into society through team games, adapted physical exercises and planned collaborative sessions.
