ON THE ORAL FOLK ART IN TO‘G‘AY MUROD'S WORK “OYDINDA YURGAN ODAMLAR”.

Abstract

This article deals with examples of oral folk art in the work "Oydinda yurgan odamlar" by Tog'ay Murod, People's Writer of Uzbekistan and a beloved son of the Uzbek people. In this work Tog'ay Murod expressed briefly and concisely the customs of our people, their oral folk art, their festivals, children's games and toponyms. Said Ahmad, one of the greatest writers of the 20th century, describes this work as follows: "The great epics of the East, "Layli and Majnun", "Farhod and Shirin" and "Tohir and Zuhro", have lived on for many hundreds of years. They depict unhappy lovers who could not reach one another and gave their lives on the path of love. Tog'ay Murod also wrote an epic. He named it "Oydinda yurgan odamlar". As soon as you read the title of the story, some mysterious, magical moonlit night takes you into its embrace. A wondrous light creeps into you. It illuminates the very depths of your heart.
