Abstract

This article investigates the legal status of a sports agent. Detailed information is given on the historical development of the profession of sports agent, on its contractual relations, ethical obligations and the legal control of its activity. It is emphasized that the activity of a sports agent is directed towards regulating the relations between athletes and sports organizations, protecting their rights and ensuring the principles of fair play.
