Abstract
Green technologies play an important role in addressing global climate change, in conserving resources and in ensuring sustainable development. This article analyses the basic principles of green technologies and their significance in their transformation into sustainable technology. Green technology includes innovations in such areas as reducing environmental impact, increasing energy efficiency and using renewable energy sources. The article examines the place of green technologies in the global economy, their ecological and economic benefits, and also the scientific and technical achievements and policy solutions that are of current importance for their development. The path to sustainable technology through green technology may become an important factor in ensuring the social and economic well-being of every country.
